At South Wind Ranch we have an amazing team of planners that are here to ensure your big day goes perfectly. We don’t believe in a cookie-cutter approach but instead choose to help our couples bring their unique vision to life.
Ashley, Jessica, Hannah and Shelby lead the South Wind Ranch planning team and bring a combined 20 years of experience and talent to our venue. Their mission is to provide an exceptional level of service and attention to detail in order to turn your wedding dreams into reality. Through their experience in this industry, they have established extensive vendor relationships which enable them to produce top rate events in every aspect.
Ashley Black
As lead coordinator, Ashley has seamlessly helped over 150 couples fulfill their perfect wedding day at The Ranch. From the little details to the big picture, Ashley’s extensive experience and positive outlook make her the perfect gal to have by your side on wedding day. Ashley always keeps things upbeat and fun. You’ll likely catch her jamming to Thomas Rhett or Lizzo while setting up in the Celebration Barn! According to her “music is LIFE!”
When Ashley is not at The Ranch or planning with our couples, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Claiborne, and their 3 children. They love to travel as a family, especially back home to Tennessee and to the Gulf Coast of Florida. As a mom of three, Ashley is a professional multitasker who is always on go! The best part of being a planner for Ashley is “capturing the little details on their big day…I love to surprise the couple with a small BTS highlight reel before they get access to their wedding gallery.”
Jessica Nepsha
Jessica Nepsha Is a wedding coordinator with 20 plus years in the event Industry. Originally from Chicago, IL, Jessica has a background in all things creative; from music and theatre to fine art and design. Jessica loves to take her clients vision and turn It Into an elevated version of everything they have ever dreamt of. "Although each wedding Is special and unique, I love the entire creative process. From start to finish, the journey of each Individual throughout the planning of such a monumental day in their lives Is such a gift to be a part of. All the tiny details that go into what makes a wedding a cherished memory; be It a song, a piece of jewelry, or a well-planned surprise. It's the little things that most people don't even think of or notice that give our couple butterflies for years to come."
Hannah Silvey
Hannah Silvey Is our newest addition to the wedding coordinating team. She began working in the wedding Industry at the age of 16 doing wedding florals. She Is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University (Hail State!) with a degree In Horticulture and Floral Management. "My favorite part of the wedding planning and coordinating process are the moments that are less about the wedding and more about just life. There is something so special about forming relationships with brides to build the trust It takes to execute their dream day. My goal Is to create a foundation of friendship and trust with my couples. Don't get me wrong, it is so rewarding to watch all of the details of a wedding day unfold. I find such joy in cheering couples on far past just their wedding day and into life and marriage."
Shelby Flynn
Shelby joined the SWR planning team earlier in 2023. She has been a great addition to our little tribe and has been a huge help in the early stages of planning with our couples. Shelby began working in the wedding industry her sophomore year of college while interning for a wedding planner in Columbia, South Carolina. With a degree from the University of South Carolina in Hospitality Management, Shelby has a passion for planning and executing events. We are so lucky to have her!
